Hi Simon, Yes it is true the tool says Valid for all yahoo emails. The problem is that Yahoo first accepts any email address under yahoo domain and checks if it is a valid address later. So not possible to validate an address whithout sending a message and analyzing the bounce report. |

is it true then, that this tool can not be used for yahoo since yahoo always return valid. i typed many bad emails for yahoo and never got invalid . |

Hi Shivakumar, The tool checks email against the SMTP server. If the server reports "Valid" for any email address then the tool marks it as valid. For example @yahoo.com SMTP accepts any address and later sends back a bounced message. Just as an example of invalid email try: dghfhjdsfbs222@hotmail.com
Thanks. |

Thank you for your comment Joe. We are working on the list validation service. The core functionality is almost ready we do performance improvements. It validates at about 40 - 60k addresses per hour. The goal is 100k per hour! Also our email marketing application will include it. |

Cool service. I like it! Do you plan to release a list validation tool?
Thank you. |
